Tessa & Tom’s Romantic Wedding at Highley Manor
An elegant English countryside wedding surrounded by beautiful details
Tessa and Tom chose Highley Manor in England for their romantic wedding celebration, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Their day was elegant, intimate and beautifully considered, with a refined green and white colour palette running throughout the wedding. From the floral arrangements to the table styling and smaller decorative details, everything came together in a wonderfully cohesive way.
Highley Manor provided the perfect setting: elegant interiors, beautiful gardens and the timeless atmosphere of an English country wedding.
A romantic English countryside wedding
There is something particularly special about weddings in the English countryside. Historic venues, beautiful gardens and an atmosphere that feels both elegant and relaxed create a wonderful backdrop for photographs.
Highley Manor was no exception.
Throughout Tessa and Tom’s wedding day, the different spaces of the venue offered a natural rhythm to the celebrations, from the preparations and ceremony through to drinks, dinner and time spent with their guests.
Rather than creating photographs that feel overly staged, I wanted to preserve the atmosphere of the day as it naturally unfolded.
Elegant green and white wedding styling
of the details that stood out throughout the day was the beautiful colour palette.
Soft greens and whites brought a fresh, sophisticated feel to the wedding, complementing both the venue and the surrounding countryside. The floral arrangements, table settings and carefully chosen decorative details all worked together beautifully.
These details may seem small, but they are an important part of telling the complete story of a wedding.
As a wedding photographer, I love photographing not only the people and emotions, but also the details that couples have spent so much time choosing and creating.
Natural, elegant wedding photography
My approach to wedding photography is a balance between documentary photography and an editorial aesthetic.
I want couples to feel completely themselves rather than spending their wedding day constantly posing for photographs. I’ll gently guide you when needed, particularly during portraits, but my aim is always for things to feel natural.
Throughout the day, I look for the moments that happen in between: a glance, a laugh, a quiet gesture, the movement of guests, the atmosphere of the ceremony or the little details that might otherwise be missed.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels elegant and timeless, while still being completely personal to you.

Kind words from Tessa & Tom
“We’ve just received all of our wedding photos and I honestly don’t know where to begin. They’re absolutely stunning and we are so grateful. From travelling across countries to capture our wedding day, to the incredible talent and passion she brought with her, Anne went above and beyond in every possible way.
She is truly a genius, an artist, and a wizard behind the camera. The photos she has created are beyond anything we could have imagined — they are elegant, timeless, and look like they belong in a luxury magazine. We are still amazed when we look through them and can’t quite believe they are us! We are not naturally photogenic but she somehow captured the most beautiful versions of us and the emotions of the day so perfectly.
Choosing her was the best money we spent on our wedding. She didn’t just take photographs; she created priceless memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are so incredibly grateful that we get to relive our wedding day through her incredible work forever.
Thank you for your talent, your dedication, and for giving us the most beautiful gift we could have asked for. We truly couldn’t have had a better photographer to capture such an important moment in our lives ❤️”
